Imiquad Cream is utilized for the treatment of specific skin growths. These include precancerous lesions (actinic keratoses), a particular form of skin cancer (superficial basal cell carcinoma), and warts located on the external genitalia or anus. Addressing these issues can help minimize complications associated with them. Imiquad Cream is classified as an immune response modifier. Its mechanism of action is believed to involve enhancing your immune system's ability to combat these abnormal skin growths.
Imiquad Cream functions primarily as an immune response modifier. By boosting the skin's immune response, it assists in decreasing the occurrence of actinic keratosis and inhibits the development of new AKs.
First, wash your hands and cleanse the area of skin that will be treated. Allow the skin to air dry for a minimum of 10 minutes before applying Imiquad Cream. After application, always wash your hands again. Avoid using Imiquad Cream on broken, wounded, or burned skin. Ensure these areas are healed prior to using the cream.
If you miss a dose, skip it and wait until it's time for your next scheduled application at bedtime. Do not apply an extra amount to compensate for the missed dose.
